Terms & conditions

Basic Charges

Appointment Fee

This covers the cost of your initial consultation. 

Including: Measuring the horse, assessing the horse and making recommendations on current saddle and/or new saddle. 

Travel Costs

Charged per mile. 

Costs can be split on shared call outs. 

These charges are subtracted from the total cost if the appointment is for a new saddle. 

Refits

Your first refit is complimentary as your horse will likely change shape in a correctly fitted saddle. 
This is only applicable to saddles purchased direct.

Do you accept returns?

Transactions are subject to the Consumer Rights Act 2015. 

Returns made after 14 days will not be eligible for refund or exchange unless the item is found to be faulty.

The customer must arrange delivery and is responsible for the costs incurred in returning the goods.

 

Where the customer believes the goods to be faulty within 30 days of purchase, the customer should contact us in detail as soon as possible to explain their concerns and wish to return the goods by email or in writing.

Our aim is to provide each of our customers with exactly the right saddle for them and their horse/pony. This means that we need to make their saddle bespoke to their individual requirements. Therefor we require a non-refundable deposit of 10%. Bespoke saddles do not have a trail period and are non-refundable unless they are found to be faulty or misdescribed.
Bespoke means having a saddle built to order for the requirements of that specific equine/rider combination.

Any saddles taken back into stock after the 14 day period are subject to a 30% restocking fee. 

The customer may also be liable for any damage caused resulting in loss of value and/or repairs needing to be made to return the saddle to original condition. 

For direct customers, in every case where a concern is voiced NRD Saddles will always return to the horses location, or offer a remote fitting service to assess the saddle on the horse. If it is deemed that any work needs to be carried out NRD Saddles will always offer to take the saddle back into the workshop .

For customers of saddle fitters your duty of care is always with the original point of sale. 
Please ask your fitter for their T&C's regarding return/repair saddles. 

Returning a saddle

You have the right to return your order within 14 days of delivery.
For goods returned during this time which are not faulty a full refund or exchange will be given, less cost of deposit, return postage & any saddle fitting costs accrued during the ordering process,  providing goods are returned in the original, unsoiled, condition complete with any original packaging.
Please retain receipt for proof of posting & original invoice to obtain your refund.

Refunds and exchanges cannot be given before returned goods are received and signed for by NRD Saddles.

Wear, Tear & Damage

NRD Saddles are not responsible for any normal wear and tear. 


NRD Saddles are not responsible for accidental damage of the saddle whilst in the possession of the customer.
